James has been in the Financial Services industry since 1988. He has a wealth of experience and has worked through many different financial climates.

James formed James & Associates in February 2003 after several years in the independent sector of Financial Services to provide the customer service standards he believes in. This has been rewarded with James & Associates being one of the largest established premier Financial Service adviser firms in the area.

James holds the required qualifications in the industry of Dip PFS and also the relevant Equity Release and Long Term Care qualifications.

James Anson’s Personal Comments:-

I am proud of my team and the business. We have made our success on recommendations by others which is a statement in itself. My aim is to provide quality advice to our clients and excellent customer service.

Steve has worked in the financial services industry for since October 2001, providing financial advice to a wide range of clients, specialising in the farming community, throughout the South West.  Steve will advise clients on all areas of financial planning, including, retirement, estate planning, wealth protection, tax efficient investment planning, mortgage advice, personal and business protection.  Steve holds a diploma in Financial services and Mortgage qualifications:  DipPFS Cert and Bridge CeMap.

Gemma Milton, Trainee Paraplanner

Gemma is a Trainee Paraplanner and also provides administrative support to the advisers. She has been with the Company since August 2016. Her role within the company is Paraplanning for James and to liaise with clients.

Joanne Smyth, Office Manager/Administrator

Joanne is the Office Manager and runs the systems within the Company. She has been with the company since October 2018.

Lynn Drever, Compliance Assistant

Lynn helps James run the compliance systems within the practice, ensuring company policies are met. She joined our team in March 2019.

Kate Nickels, Receptionist/Administration

Kate is the face of the company running reception and assisting in the general administration of the company. She joined us in July 2019.
